UltraPrompt

Support

Getting started, keeping your library safe, and making the most of your prompts.

The quick start

  1. Choose New Prompt. Add a title, pick a collection if you like, and write your template.
  2. Use Insert Variable or type {{topic}} wherever you want a reusable field.
  3. Save your prompt. Open it, fill in the variables, then Copy or Share the finished text.

Filling a variable changes only the output—not your saved template. Repeated variable names use the same value.

Common questions

Does UltraPrompt work with my AI app?

UltraPrompt stores and prepares text; it isn’t an AI chat client. Copy a prompt into the tool you prefer, or choose an available destination in the iOS share sheet. Share destinations are controlled by iOS and the apps installed on your device.

How do I sync my iPhone and iPad?

Use the same Apple Account for iCloud on both devices, with iCloud enabled for UltraPrompt. Your prompts, collections, favorites, and attached images sync through your private iCloud database. Sync is automatic, not instantaneous.

If something is missing, connect both devices to the internet, open UltraPrompt on each, check your iCloud storage, and allow time for syncing. Avoid reinstalling the app or importing the same backup on both devices as a troubleshooting step.

Can I use it offline?

Yes. Your library has a local copy, so you can find, edit, fill, and copy saved prompts offline. iCloud changes sync when a connection becomes available. The app receiving a shared prompt may have its own internet requirements.

Why isn’t Apple Intelligence available?

Prompt generation requires a supported Apple Intelligence device, Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings, and its on-device model downloaded. Availability can also depend on language, region, and system restrictions. The rest of UltraPrompt works without it.

Generated prompts are drafts. Review them before saving or using them.

What happens to an attached image?

An image gives your saved prompt extra context or an example to refer to. Tap the image row to view it in full. Copying or sharing a rendered prompt sends the prompt text, not the attached image.

How do backups and deletion work?

In Settings, choose Export Backup to save a portable JSON copy. Import Backup adds missing items and leaves existing matching items unchanged. Restore on one device and let iCloud sync the result.

Deleting a collection keeps its prompts. Deleting a prompt removes it from your library and synced devices. Delete All Library Data in Settings removes the entire library. Export a backup first if you may need it later.

Deleting the app from one device does not delete your iCloud library. Exported backup files remain where you saved them until you delete those files.

Still need a hand?

When reporting an issue, include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, UltraPrompt version, and the steps that led to it. Please leave private prompt text and personal images out of your report unless they are necessary.
